New York Tri-State Area Remote Work Interviews, Rutgers University

As part of my dissertation research at Rutgers University, I am conducting a set of interviews to understand the effects of flexible work location on transportation system usage. Findings from this study will inform policies that ease travel congestion and contribute to the promotion of more flexible work.

What can you do to help?

1. VOLUNTEER FOR AN INTERVIEW (PHONE, SKYPE, OR IN PERSON)

I am conducting a set of 10 minute interviews to collect stories about remote working. Again participants must be at least 18 years of age, employed, residing in the New York metropolitan tri-state area, and have used information technology to work remotely for their job within the past month. Interviewing qualifies you for one entry in a drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card. Phone and Skype interviews can be requested online. To arrange for an in-person interview at a cafe or office please contact me at jonathan.stiles@rutgers.edu.

2. SPREAD THE WORD

If you know someone in NYC metropolitan area who would have a lot to say about this topic, please suggest they be interview through the following suggested text:

If you live in the NYC metropolitan area and want to share your experiences doing remote work with a Rutgers University researcher, please sign up for a 10 minute Phone or Skype interview, or contact jonathan.stiles@rutgers.edu. to arrange a in-person interview at a location of your choice. Volunteering gives you one entry in a drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
